After more than 35 years as an investigative reporter in news media, I ventured out on my own to form the investigative media company, Deeson Media. This follows 12 Emmy Awards, 2 Murrow awards and several others – including the only broadcaster to be named Journalist of the Year by the Society of Professional Journalists.

My goal was to produce relevant content that impacts our lives, our world and our future.

My latest work is a documentary called Broken and I consider it the most important of my career. This in-depth look into the lives of circus elephants will move you and hopefully make you act to help ensure these animals are no longer mistreated.
